Hi, Welcome to my stop on The Robin's Nest Christmas blog hop.  I'm so excited to share this Christmas mini album/gift book I've created using toilet tissue roll and beautifying it with the gorgeous Christmas Collection paper and cardstock.... This can be used as a mini album but since it's almost Christmas, I thought it would be perfect for storing a selection of gift cards which would make a perfect gift for that person who has everything! Hi There,  So this post is a little bit late...but better late than never I suppose.... I recently joined Off the Rails Scrapbook group on Facebook and completed the first challenge... The challenge was to create a scrapbook page using the mood board below.... It was both exciting and scary..... Exciting because it was a new adventure for me and scary because the wonderful creations that others had posted set the bar quite high. Here's my take on the September mood board.... Hi All, This month we are working with the Christmas Collection ...and I  guess  w hen it comes to Christmas,  I tend to go a little bit off the hinges with excitement.... I love it....it's the best time of year!  I'm still dreaming of my white Christmas though... Hhhhhmmmm.....maybe it will happen  this year ..?!?.  So in anxious anticipation... Hi, It's always sad to say goodbye to those special people we meet on our life's journey.... This Friday I say goodbye to a special colleague and friend as she leaves for pastures new. I will be sad to see her go because she's not only become a friend but she's always encouraged me in my creative pursuits....she has always believed in me and has become a fan of my work.... She is a bit of a fashion diva.....and because girls can never have too many handbags, I decided I would make a 'bag' for the special gift I have bought for her.... Hi Everyone...  The other day as I walked home from the station, I was startled from my daydream by a leaf which fluttered down right in front of me....as if to remind me that autumn had arrived..... I noticed how the leaves had started to change their colour and i t made me think of the countless leaves of previous autumns that graced our footpath every day...and the frustration of keeping our garden clean.... To be honest, I do prefer the summer months......but there's something special about gazing into a  garden filled with the rich tones of autumn and a ground covered with dancing leaves...but then there's the dreadful clean up chores which nobody wants to do..... My three girls had the enviable task of sweeping up the leaves with their dad...and they loved every minute of it.....NOT.... Hello, So I joined this online Scrapbook challenge run by CSI (Colour Stories Inspiration)  and today I completed my first challenge for CSI.... I did find it a bit of a challenge because I hadn't worked within defined parameters before....so it took me a while to finally decide what I wanted to do.... What I did like is that  the challenge forced me to work with the given set of criteria yet still gave me the freedom to create something I had never created before...so I guess it was good exercise..... Every Friday a new challenge is announced and you have 1 week to provide your evidence for the challenge. Below is the image of Case file 137 which lists what needs to be included in your design....all colours have to be used but the evidence and testimony is a choice of minimum of 2 and 1 respectively...
